FROM YOUR HOST

Palazzo Alberti Luxury Alpine Apartment

Ciao and welcome!

My family and I have owned and cherished this apartment since 2009, using it as our year-round alpine escape – from snowy winters to sunny summers.

We open our home to guests in the summer and during winter holidays when Bormio is at its best. Whether you’re here to explore the mountain practicing winter sports, biking and hiking trails, take in breathtaking alpine views, relax in the natural thermal spas, or indulge in the local gastronomy—from fresh-baked bread to divine gelatos—this is the perfect time to experience it all.

The apartment is a peaceful and beautifully designed retreat, located in the heart of Bormio’s medieval old town. With cobbled streets just outside the door and panoramic mountain views all around, it’s the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.

Our Bormio retreat offers a truly unique and wonderful place to be – calm, comfortable, and full of character. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

Enjoy!

OUR VISIT TO BORMIO

GUEST FEEDBACK

Bormio is a magical village nestled in the magnificent Italian western Alps. It’s truly a four-seasons destination, perfect for enjoying both outdoor sports and delicious food. Don’t miss the crostata di frutti di bosco con panna fresca—just one example of the incredible local specialities! With so many baite and malghe to discover, you won’t have enough days to taste everything in just one visit. I discovered Bormio thanks to a dear friend and her family, who have a holiday home in the historic centre, right beside the duomo. Their apartment has been beautifully renovated using all-natural materials that blend perfectly with the mountain setting. From the moment you arrive, it feels like home—comfortable, cosy, with warm, natural colours and impeccable taste. Every space is thoughtfully designed and beautifully used. From the windows, you look directly onto the central piazza. I can’t wait for my next stay at Ellie’s house.

SARAH, LONDON

I had a wonderful time staying at Ellie’s place in Bormio. It is very well appointed and comfortable with lots of thoughtful details. The location is ideal for exploring the beautiful town - everything is within easy walking distance and the views from the windows are stunning! Highly recommended both the apartment and the host! Ellie is wonderful to communicate with - super helpful and responsive.
