With so many baite and malghe to discover, you won’t have enough days to taste everything in just one visit. I discovered Bormio thanks to a dear friend and her family, who have a holiday home in the historic centre, right beside the duomo. Their apartment has been beautifully renovated using all-natural materials that blend perfectly with the mountain setting. From the moment you arrive, it feels like home—comfortable, cosy, with warm, natural colours and impeccable taste. Every space is thoughtfully designed and beautifully used. From the windows, you look directly onto the central piazza. I can’t wait for my next stay at Ellie’s house.

I had a wonderful time staying at Ellie’s place in Bormio. It is very well appointed and comfortable with lots of thoughtful details. The location is ideal for exploring the beautiful town - everything is within easy walking distance and the views from the windows are stunning! Highly recommended both the apartment and the host!
